What We Serve

Design-to-Code Front-Ends for SaaS Interfaces, Marketing Sites and Design Systems

A design is only as good as the code that renders it. Our front-end development services take Figma files and turn them into interfaces that match the design in every state, work with a keyboard and a screen reader, and load fast on a phone. We build in the framework that fits your stack, whether that is React, Next.js, Astro, Vue or plain HTML and CSS, and we build from components so the fifth screen is faster than the first. AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor generate components, stories and tests directly from your design tokens; senior front-end engineers review every pull request, check accessibility and keep the performance budget. Devoq Design designs too, so handoff friction disappears.

Our Approach

Tokens First, Components Second, Pages Last

We start by reading the design system, not the pages: colors, type, spacing and states become tokens in code. Components come next, each built once with every variant and state, documented in Storybook and tested for keyboard and screen reader behavior. Only then are pages assembled, which is why they go quickly and stay consistent. AI generates the first pass of each component and its tests from the tokens and the Figma frame; an engineer reviews the output, fixes what the model got wrong and checks it against the design. Every pull request runs lint, type checks, visual regression, accessibility checks and a Lighthouse budget before a senior engineer approves it. Your designers review in a preview deployment, not a screenshot.

What Is Front-End Development?

Front-end development is building the part of a website or application that users see and interact with: layout, components, interaction, responsiveness, accessibility and performance, implemented in HTML, CSS and JavaScript or a framework built on them, and connected to whatever back-end or content source the product uses.
element 01

Design fidelity

Interfaces that match the approved design in every state and breakpoint.

Component architecture

Reusable, documented building blocks instead of one-off page code.

Accessibility

Semantic markup, keyboard support and screen reader behavior built in.

Performance

Images, fonts and scripts optimized against a Core Web Vitals budget.
At Devoq Design, front-end development means accessible, component-based interfaces delivered about 5x faster, with senior review on every change.
element 02

Why Front-End Quality Matters

Users never see your architecture. They see the front-end, and they judge the whole product by how it looks, responds and performs.

First Impressions Load Fast

Speed on a mid-range phone is what most users actually experience.

Everyone Can Use It

Accessible interfaces serve more customers and reduce legal exposure.

Designs Ship as Designed

No drift between Figma and production that erodes the brand.

Cheaper to Change

Component systems make new screens and redesigns quick to deliver.

Framework Choice Fits You

The right tool for the product rather than the one we happen to prefer.

Fewer Front-End Bugs

Typed, tested components catch regressions before users do.

Why Choose Us?

Designers and Engineers Together

The people who made the design sit next to the people coding it.

Framework Neutral

React, Next.js, Astro, Vue or plain HTML, chosen for the product.

AI-Generated, Engineer-Reviewed

Components and tests drafted by AI; every pull request approved by a senior.

Accessibility Is Not Optional

Keyboard, contrast and screen reader checks on every component.

Performance Budget in CI

Lighthouse thresholds that block a merge, not a report afterwards.

Flexible Engagement

Fixed-scope build, monthly retainer or a hired HTML and CSS developer.
element 02

Common Front-End Problems We Fix

Teams usually look for front-end development services when design and code have drifted apart. These are the problems we fix most.

Designs That Never Match Production

Spacing, type and states lost between Figma and the browser.

CSS Nobody Dares Touch

Years of overrides where one change breaks three other pages.

Accessibility Failures

Missing labels, focus traps and contrast issues found by customers.

Slow Pages on Mobile

Heavy scripts and unoptimized assets that fail Core Web Vitals.

No Component Reuse

Every page hand-built, so every change costs the same as the first.

Front-End Bottleneck

Designs ready and back-end ready, but no capacity to build the UI.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do front-end development services include?
Turning designs into production interfaces: tokens, components, pages, responsiveness, accessibility, performance and integration with your API or CMS, plus tests and documentation. Devoq Design adds AI-generated components reviewed by senior engineers and designers in the same studio to resolve handoff questions.
Which front-end framework should we use?
It depends on the product. Astro or plain HTML for content sites where speed matters most, React or Vue for interactive applications, Next.js when a React app and marketing site share components. We build all of them and will recommend one after seeing your designs and stack.
Can you build from our Figma files?
Yes, that is the most common starting point. We read the design system first, raise questions about missing states or breakpoints early, and build tokens and components before pages. If the designs need work, our designers can finish them before engineering starts.
How do you make sure the front-end is accessible?
Semantic HTML, visible focus, keyboard support and ARIA where needed are built into every component. Automated accessibility checks run on each pull request, and a person tests critical flows with a keyboard and a screen reader before release, against WCAG 2.2.
How much does front-end development cost?
It depends on the number of unique components and page templates, interaction complexity, integration work, accessibility scope and the framework. We quote a fixed price for a defined build or a monthly rate for a dedicated front-end developer after a short review of the designs.
Can you work inside our existing codebase?
Yes. We review structure, build tooling, tests and conventions first, then ship improvements as reviewed pull requests in your repository and sprint rhythm. Legacy CSS or jQuery can be migrated to components in planned slices without a rewrite.
How is this about 5x faster than a traditional agency?
Four things add up: several AI-drafted options at once instead of one at a time, generated boilerplate and tests instead of hand-written setup, reusable component libraries instead of page-by-page builds, and automated checks on every change instead of a manual pass at the end. Review time stays the same; waiting time disappears.
Is AI-assisted work good enough, and is it safe?
AI never ships anything on its own. A senior lead reviews every design and every code change, automated tests and accessibility checks run on each one, and the code is plain TypeScript in your own repository. We do not send your customer data to AI tools without a written agreement.
Who owns the code, the design files and the accounts?
You do, from the first week. Figma, GitHub, CMS and hosting accounts are created under your company, and the contract assigns the IP to you. There is nothing to hand back at the end because it was always yours.
How do you charge: fixed price, monthly retainer or dedicated team?
All three, depending on the shape of the work. A fixed price when the scope is clear, a monthly retainer when the work keeps evolving, and a dedicated designer or engineer pair when you want capacity inside your own team. We recommend one after a short discovery call.
Do you work with companies in the US, UK, Canada or Australia?
Yes, most of our clients are there. Devoq Design has teams in India, Canada and the US, so every project has overlapping hours for reviews and stand-ups. Everything else runs async with recorded walkthroughs, decision logs and written updates in your Slack or Teams.
How do we get started?
Book a 30-minute call or send a short brief. We come back within a few working days with a scope, a plan and a price. Work starts after an NDA and IP assignment are signed and your accounts are set up.
